Celebrate the work of local and national writing talent with this special Queensland Literary Awards panel! You’ll hear from some of the 2026 QLAs winners as they discuss their nominated books, the craft of writing, the ups and downs of being a contemporary author, and that winning feeling.

Darby Jones is the Editorial Assistant at Griffith Review and a bookseller at Cursive Knives. He is an alumnus of the black&write! Indigenous Writing and Editing Project and the Open Book Internship and has dedicated his career to diversifying the publishing industry.
