Chris Kohler: How They Get You
In conversation with Rachel Mealey
8–9pm, Friday 9 October, Powerhouse Theatre
If you’ve ever reached the end of a pay cycle and wondered where all your hard-earned cash just went (and how it managed to disappear so fast), finance journalist Chris Kohler is on the case. In this entertaining and savvy guide, he’ll take you on a tour of the businesses and schemes that are fleecing you, from likely suspects (supermarkets, anyone?) to sneakier players (loyalty programs that reward nothing but your overspending). You and your wallet will be cashing in on Chris’ sage advice for years to come.
