Rachel Mealey

Rachel Mealey is a Walkley-nominated ABC journalist and presenter with over 25 years experience. She can be heard on the ABC’s national current affairs programs AM, PM and The World Today and she’s also a regular presenter on ABC Brisbane. Rachel has reported from overseas as the ABC’s Tokyo Correspondent and was previously the ABC’s Sydney Court Reporter. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic she reported on the developing story each day and provided in-depth analysis for the audience. Her work across the broader ABC network brought her into contact with many of the journalists and experts covering the pandemic both locally and across the globe.
