What happens when an Aboriginal farmer and an astrophysics professor look to the heavens and talk about what they see? Big Sky chronicles a powerful and perspective-shifting dialogue between award-winning Dark Emu author Bruce Pascoe and accomplished astrophysicist Ray Norris. It’s both an illuminating meeting of minds and a vital union of science and philosophy, showing us what we can learn from millennia of First Nations sky knowledge and how it can help us navigate the ecological uncertainty of our future.

Bruce Pascoe
Bruce Pascoe is an Aboriginal farmer and writer of literary fiction, non-fiction, poetry, essays and children’s literature, based on Yuin Country. His publications have won numerous awards. He is the author of the groundbreaking, bestselling book Dark Emu.
Melissa Lucashenko
Melissa Lucashenko is a multi-award-winning novelist from the Bundjalung nation. Too Much Lip won the 2019 Miles Franklin Literary Award and Edenglassie was released to critical acclaim in 2023. She is a Walkley Award winner, and her latest book is the essay collection Not Quite White in the Head.
