Rebecca Makkai
Rebecca Makkai is the author of two novels and a collection of short stories. Her work has appeared in The Best American Short Stories, The Best American Nonrequired Reading, Best American Fantasy, Harper's, Tin House, Ploughshares, Iowa Review, Indiana Review, Michigan Quarterly Review and New England Review, among others. She lives outside Chicago with her husband and two daughters.
Carody Culver
Carody Culver is the editor of Griffith Review. Her writing has appeared in Kill Your Darlings, Peppermint, Books+Publishing, The Toast and elsewhere. Her chapbook, The Morgue I Think the Deader it Gets, was published by Cordite in 2022. She’s interviewed writers and public figures including Grace Tame, Jonathan Franzen, Waleed Aly, Clementine Ford, Anna Funder and Cory Doctorow.
