Drop in to The Parlour for free storytime events.
Alison will present a reading of her picture books Hotel for Bees and Growing Pains, which promote caring for the local environment and overcoming fears.
Recommended for ages 3 – 8 and their families. Pram friendly.

Alison McLennan
Alison McLennan is an Australian children's author, singer, actor and voiceover artist. She has written four picture books including Hotel For Bees (State Library of Qld 2020), Growing Pains (EK Books 2021), Great and Small (Storytorch Press 2022) and Birdie Lights Up The World (EK Books, coming in 2023). Her short stories have also appeared in The School Magazine and The Spooky Stories Anthology. When not writing or performing she loves taking care of her two beautiful children and her two fur babies, or sneaking off to the library.
