Ross Watkins
Ross Watkins is an author and illustrator for both children and adults. His first major publication was as the illustrator of The Boy Who Grew Into a Tree (2012), and his picture book One Photo (2016) was shortlisted for the CBCA 2017 Picture Book of the Year. The Apology (2018) is his debut adult novel.
Ross grew up in Western Sydney and is now a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of the Sunshine Coast.

Laura Elizabeth Woollett
Laura Elizabeth Woollett is the author of a short story collection, The Love of a Bad Man (2016), and a novel, Beautiful Revolutionary (2018). In 2017, The Love of a Bad Man was shortlisted for the Victorian Premier's Award for Fiction and the Ned Kelly Award for Best First Fiction.
Woollett was the recipient of a 2017 Asialink arts residency and a 2018 Neilma Sidney Literary travel grant.
She is currently based in Melbourne and is working on her next novel.
