Sarah Bailey is a Melbourne based writer with a background in advertising and communications. She has two young children and currently works at creative projects company Mr Smith. Her debut novel, The Dark Lake was published in 2017. Her second book featuring Detective Sergeant Gemma Woodstock was published in Australia in May 2018. Rights for both books have been sold in several international markets and The Dark Lake has been optioned for the screen by Hopscotch Features.
