Adam Liaw's Zen Kitchen and the UPLIT Zen Kitchen Raffle
The Edge, State Library of Queensland
#About the event
Duration: 90 minutes
Ticket Sales have now closed for this event, however raffle tickets are still available here.
Australia’s favourite foodie-with-a-topknot, MasterChef winner and Destination Flavour host Adam Liaw will join us next month for a lively discussion on food, cooking and culture.
Adam’s new book The Zen Kitchen is a beautiful collection of easy-to-prepare Japanese recipes and philosophies for the home cook to guide you toward healthier and more enjoyable meal times.
Adam’s delicious recipes, including Teriyaki Pork and Mushroom Rolls, Tantan Chicken Nabe, Spring Rain Noodle Salad and Shiitake and Sashimi Salad, are set to become firm favorites on your weekly menu.
Adam will be discussing his myriad of culinary influences from across the world, both traditional and contemporary, and demonstrating why his victory in MasterChef in 2010 is still the most watched non-sporting television event in Australian history.
Join Adam as he shares his unique journey from law firm to kitchen to television, then stick around for a meet and greet and some tasty samples from The Zen Kitchen.
Copies of his new book will be available for purchase on the night from our official author event bookseller, SLQ's Library Shop.
Adam will be in conversation with Morag Kobez, food and travel writer for Qantas Magazine and delicious.
We'll also have some great prizes up for grabs at Adam Liaw, as part of our UPLIT Raffle including a copy of The Zen Kitchen, a Golden Ticket to Inspire Festival 2017, and even a cooking class! Click here for the full details, or here to purchase a ticket.
