UPLIT is very proud to announce and welcome our newest board member, Fiona Taylor.
Fiona has been a long standing supporter of the annual Brisbane Writers Festival. She holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Queensland and has worked for the Queensland government in both regional and policy development roles.
Fiona has consistently demonstrated her high value and strong passion for community, and continually promotes the importance of the humanities. She has held a variety of volunteer positions in aid, women's and educational organisations, and is currently undertaking further study in Philosophy at the University of Queensland.
Fiona is a member of the Angel's Palace advisory board, and supported the premiere of Angel's Palace at the 2017 Brisbane Writers Festival.
