Kali's debut novel, The Secrets at Ocean’s Edge, was published on 30 January 2018 by Hachette Australia and is set in mid-west Western Australia during the Depression. Determined to be a writer since early childhood, Kali enrolled in a creative writing degree at Curtin University at age 16, but dropped out for a lack of ‘life experience’. She is currently an MPhil candidate in Creative Writing at The University of Queensland, exploring the poetics of dress in historical fiction. Kali's top 10 list shows her diverse taste in fiction and just a taste of the authors that inspire her.
You can catch Kali at BWF 2018 at her event with fellow author Cass Moriarty. Tickets are on sale now.
