Love YA Festival: The perfect way to spend a Saturday in Brisbane!

The recent event featuring authors Cath Crowley, Steph Bowe, Ellie Marney and Paula Weston, and was amazing to attend and be involved with. 

I have loved writing since I first picked up a pencil, and the talks these authors gave were inspiring and funny. Alongside the author sessions, the stalls and book signings were a definite highlight. A Letter Library was set up throughout the day, themed from Cath Crowley’s book, Words in Deep Blue, along with a typewriter which was fantastic to use.

My favourite thing about being the youth ambassador for Love YA was getting the opportunity to interview Cath Crowley in advance and taking part in helping at the event. Can’t wait to see everyone at the next one in September!
