Ian Kemish

Ian Kemish AM is a former Australian diplomat. His first book, The Consul, offered a personal perspective on Australia's foreign affairs challenges over 20 years. Two Islands, his first work of fiction, draws on his diplomatic work in the Balkans in the 1990s and his strong family links to Scotland.

Danny Ben-Moshe

Danny Ben-Moshe

Danny Ben-Moshe, a Walkley Award winning filmmaker, has made multiple documentaries, many with Jewish themes, for the ABC, SBS & international broadcasters including the BBC. His novel, The Watchmakers War, is based on the true story told in his ABC-BBC film Revenge: Our Dad the Nazi Killer.

Dinuka McKenzie

Dinuka McKenzie

Dinuka McKenzie is the author of the Detective Kate Miles crime series, The Torrent, Taken and Tipping Point, published in Australia and the UK. She is the winner of the 2020 HarperCollins Australia Banjo Prize. Her writing has been shortlisted for the Sisters in Crime - Davitt Awards, the Bad Sydney Crime - Danger Awards, and longlisted for the Richell Prize. Dinuka lives with her family in Southern Sydney on Dharawal country. She Lied First, a standalone psychological suspense, is her fourth novel.

Nick Croydon

Nick Croydon

Nick Croydon was born in Surrey, England, and is the CEO of QBD Books Australia. He has more than twenty-five years’ experience running international publishing companies and book retail businesses across the United Kingdom and Australia. The Turing Protocol was his debut novel.

Joanna Jenkins

Joanna Jenkins

Joanna Jenkins has published three books: How to Kill a Client (2023), The Bluff (2025), and Bad Neighbours (a baby-August 2026). The books have been listed (short and long) for various awards. Easy Tiger, who optioned How to Kill a Client won a script development grant for it.
