Damien Wilkins: Delirious
In conversation with Charlotte Wood
2–3pm, Friday 9 October, Fairfax Studio
When Pete and Mary decide to move into a retirement village, they’re ready for a new chapter. But old memories and unfinished business keep eddying around them, from the cop who offers fresh information in the cold case of their son’s death to Pete’s sudden, haunting memories of his late mother. Damien Wilkins’ moving and perceptive novel explores the eternal dance between past and present, posing poignant questions about selfhood and second chances.
