Thom Woodroofe played a key role in securing the Paris Agreement. He has since worked as chief of staff to former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, for DFAT in Washington, and helped forged a backchannel for US-China climate talks. He grew up off grid in country Victoria and was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford.
