John Morrissey
John Morrissey is a Melbourne writer of Kalkadoon descent. His work has been published in Overland, Voiceworks, Meanjin and the anthology This All Come Back Now. He was the winner of the 2020 Boundless Mentorship and the runner-up for the 2018 Nakata Brophy Prize.
John Richards
John Richards was educated in the UK and lived in London and Singapore before settling in Brisbane. He was shortlisted for the Elizabeth Jolley Short Story Award in 2021 and the Glendower Award for an Emerging Queensland Writer in August 2022. The Gorgon Flower is his first published work of fiction.
Simon Groth
Simon Groth is a writer and long-time observer of publishing, technology, and creative industries. His books include collections of rock music interviews, remixed short stories from the nineteenth century, and a novel whose order of chapters is randomised between copies. His reporting on the technologies of publishing has seen him travel the globe to discuss and explore the challenges and opportunities for writers and readers in a hyperconnected world.
Laura Elvery
Laura Elvery is a writer from Brisbane. She is the author of two short story collections, Trick of the Light and Ordinary Matter. Laura's next book is a novel called Nightingale that reimagines Florence Nightingale's final hours.
