Rebecca Heath
Rebecca Heath studied science at university, worked in hospitality and teaching, and wrote obsessively whenever she could find the time. She wrote several young adult novels as Beck Nicholas, published in Australia and Germany. She lives in Adelaide, Australia, halfway between the city and the sea with her husband, three children and a much-loved border collie. She spent her childhood summers at a remote beach not unlike where The Summer Party is set. The Summer Party is her debut adult novel.
Jonathan O'Brien
Jonathan O'Brien is a Brisbane-based writer, educator, and creative freelancer, described as “a fresh and exciting voice” by The Guardian Australia. He was the recipient of a Brisbane Lord Mayor's Young and Emerging Artists Fellowship (2020), and the State Library of Queensland Young Writers Award (2017). Find him at jonobri.com.
Benjamin Stevenson
Benjamin Stevenson is an award-winning stand-up comedian and author. His first novel, Greenlight, was shortlisted for the Ned Kelly Award for Best Debut Crime Fiction, and his second novel, Either Side of Midnight, was shortlisted for the International Thriller Writers Award for Best Original Paperback. Everyone In My Family Has Killed Someone, his third novel, was a huge bestseller and has so far been sold in twenty-six territories around the world. It will soon be adapted into a major HBO TV series. It was shortlisted for the Dymocks Book of the Year 2022 and named as one of The Sunday Times's best crime novels 2022. Benjamin has sold out live shows from the Melbourne International Comedy Festival all the way to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and has appeared on ABC TV, Channel 10 and The Comedy Channel.
Sulari Gentill
Sulari Gentill is the award-winning, best-selling author of 16 published novels. Her body of work includes The Rowland Sinclair Mysteries, The Hero Trilogy, After She Wrote Him (which won the 2018 Ned Kelly Award) and the USA Today bestseller, The Woman in the Library, which was the winner of the Crime Lovers Best Novel by an independent publisher award, an Edgar Award nominee, a New York Times recommended read, a Goodreads most anticipated read, an Amazon editor’s pick and a CrimeReads best book of June. Loraine Peck
From magician’s assistant to crime novelist, it’s all about mastering the art of subterfuge to Loraine Peck, whose love of crime fiction propelled her to write the kind of book she loves to read. The Double Bind is the sequel to Loraine’s debut novel, The Second Son, which won the 2021 Ned Kelly Award for Best Debut Crime Fiction from the Australian Crime Writers Association. It was shortlisted for two Davitt Awards by Sisters in Crime and for a Danger Award by BAD Crime Sydney. Loraine and her husband spend their time between Sydney and the Gold Coast.
