Madonna Duffy

Madonna Duffy has over three decades’ experience in book publishing. She has previously worked in editorial roles for publishers such as Pan Macmillan and Penguin Random House in Australia and the UK. She is currently Publishing Director at the University of Queensland Press (UQP), where she heads the publishing list and also acquires fiction and non-fiction. She has published award-winning authors such as David Malouf, Melissa Lucashenko, Matthew Condon, Larissa Behrendt and Tony Birch. Madonna has been a member of many industry committees, including the APA’s Residential Editorial Program Committee, and she regularly gives guest lectures and speaks at industry and community events.
