Brett Wood

Brett Wood, the founder and principal of Music Industry College is an experienced educator having spent sixteen years teaching with Education Queensland and working with disadvantaged youth for a further eleven years at The Spot Youth Services before establishing the college. Brett is a reluctant author, businessman and administrator. His passion for helping young people reach their potential is the driving force that guides his entrepreneurial spirit. He was recognised for his dedication to disadvantaged youth with the awarding of the Centenary Medal in 2001. His hope is that this book and the stories shared within will motivate you to make a positive difference to the young people in your life. Fingers crossed it may help change government education policy (is that too much to ask?)
