Master storyteller Patrick Ness, award-winning and bestselling international author of A Monster Calls, the Chaos Walking trilogy and more, returns with the hilarious Chronicles of a Lizard Nobody, his first novel for middle grade readers. Meet Zeke and his friends, who are tasked with being hall monitors at their school—nothing to do with the fact that they are monitor lizards. Their adventures lead them to face all manner of outlandish threats, including from their nemesis, a pelican who just might be a supervillain. Dave Lowe will be in conversation with Patrick Ness about this funny and wise tale that takes on what it means to be a hero.
Note: this event is aimed at school groups, however all are welcome to attend. For the event aimed at general audiences and focused on Patrick Ness’s work more broadly, go to Patrick Ness In Conversation.
