Quentin Beresford has built a career on hard-hitting writing on controversial contemporary issues informed by his deep knowledge of politics. His latest book, Rogue Corporations, is a damning examination of corporate culture run amok, examining the countless business scandals of recent years and the forces that enable and empower bad actors.

Quentin Beresford
Quentin has had a diverse career in academia, journalism and the public service. He is currently Adjunct Professor of Politics at the Sunshine Coast University. The author of a dozen books covering the environment, Indigenous affairs and biography, Quentin has specialised in studying how power operates in the Australian political system. Previous books have examined the politics of coal and the policies and politics that drove the over-development of Murray-Darling Basin. He has been the recipient of six literary prizes for his work. He lives in Brisbane.
Jen Bowden
Jen is a journalist, editor and writer originally from North East England. She runs a podcast – Northern Voices – that explores Northern UK writers, publishing and stories. She teaches writing, editing and journalism at Curtin University, where she's also doing her PhD in Creative Writing researching accent and class bias in UK fiction. Her journalism has appeared in the Guardian, the Scotsman, the List and, recently, The Bookseller, among others. She also hosts the Readers & Writers Podcast for Arts Margaret River. She lives in Brisbane/Meanjin with her husband.
