Focusing on a critically under-represented part of Australian culture - specifically the myriad ways non male participants negotiate the traditionally male spectacle of athlecticism - this collection interrogates the way sporting bodies and achievements are portrayed in Australian media and culture.

Erin Stewart
Erin Stewart is a writer currently based in the UK. She is an opinion columnist for Fairfax and her work has appeared in a range of publications in Australia, the UK, and the US such as Meanjin, ABC Online, and BRIGHT magazine.
She has recently completed a PhD in nonfiction writing at the University of Wollongong.
Holly Isemonger
Holly Isemonger has been published in Cordite, Shabby Doll House and Voiceworks. She is the author of the chapbook Hip Shifts (If A Leaf Falls Press) and Deluxe Paperweight (Stale Objects dePress) .
