What are your BWF memories?
The Brisbane Writers Festival celebrates it's 55th year in 2017. Since presenting just six sessions as the Warana Writers Convention in 1962, to presenting over 150 events to more than 20,000 literary lovers annually, our program has sparked some big stories - and now we want to hear about the little ones in between.
Whether you've been attending for decades, visited once in the 90s, or attended for the first time in 2016 - we want to hear from you.
All you need to do is tell the world the little stories from BWF that you think are important - the special moments, and the lasting memories, that were created during BWF’s past. Discovered your all-time favourite book? Met the love of your life? Decided to be come a writer? Demystified your biggest hero? Saw a student inspired?
Share your BWF memories on Facebook,Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #MyLittleStory, and follow along to see what other stories emerge.
The entries will be judged by a special BWF guest, with the winner receiving an epic collection of books by the speakers at this year's Festival.
