BWF Secures Four-Year Funding From Arts Queensland
Brisbane Writers Festival (BWF) is one of the recipients of Arts Queensland's Organisations Fund 2022-2025. This program will provide BWF with $310,000 per annum for four years to help deliver the annual festival.
Arts Queensland provides this program for foundational investment in key companies across the state. This helps deliver artistic outcomes, grow employment opportunities in the arts, and engage communities in arts programs.
BWF CEO Sarah Runcie said the funding will help to sustain the festival this year and beyond. "Brisbane Writers Festival is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2022," Ms Runcie said. "The continued support of Arts Queensland means we can bring fabulous new things to the festival for the anniversary, and in future years. This funding will help secure BWF's sustainability and growth moving forwards."
BWF will run 3-8 May 2022.
