Andrew Sneddon

Andrew Sneddon is a director of Australia's largest heritage consultancy. He has participated in archaeological research excavations around the world, including in Cyprus, Syria, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Italy, Greece, Cambodia and Myanmar. Andrew was Director of UQ's Culture and Heritage Unit from 2009 to 2017. His poetry and academic work have featured in a variety of publications. Prehistoric Joy — a memoir about his childhood beset by family violence — is his first book. He lives in Brisbane with his wife and son.
