Andrew McDonald is a children's author who has written the bestselling Real Pigeons series. He lives in Melbourne and enjoys baking his own bread (which he eats down to the last breadcrumb – sorry pigeons!). His first novel for children was The Greatest Blogger in the World and his second Son of Death, was named by The Age as one of the ‘best books of the year’. Andrew has had many jobs during his life including bookselling and flipping pancakes but the best one by far is being an author and sharing stories with young readers.
