Sharing traditions, culture and history of Meanjin (Brisbane) and the surrounding lands, Traditional Owner Shannon Ruska welcomes audiences to the country on which the festival runs. Shannon shares stories passed down from his elders, contrasted with today's way of being. Giving insight into the sanctity of First Nations culture, the continuation and transformation of the oldest living culture in the world. This welcome sets the foundation for Room for Dreaming: First Nations Storytellers and the episodes to come.
