DESCRIPTION:\n\nA brand new performance, inspired by Alexis Wright's a
 ward-wining novel Carpentaria, taking place inside an epic artwork pre
 miering at the Brisbane Writers Festival.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA
  town embroiled in battle. Ancient combats as deep as the land, entwin
 ing with greed-fueled battles over what lies beneath. A digital landsc
 ape blooms to life; a stirring soundtrack lingers; and the enigmatic A
 ngel Day, presides over her house built on top of the snake spirit's n
 est. \n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA place that is full of sto
 ries; the big stories and the little ones between.\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n
 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMeet the extraordinary characters who live on the ou
 tskirts of Desperance, creating home in the unlikeliness of places. Th
 e proclaimed Queen, Angel Day, and her husband Normal Phantom, at odds
  in their notion of where they belong, strive to create their idea of 
 home.\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTaking place inside Angel's
  Palace, an epic artistic monument by contemporary Aboriginal artist G
 ordon Hookey, this immersive theatrical adventure invites audiences to
  another place and time.\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA must-s
 ee this September. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDue to the nature 
 of this performance, a lock out policy applies and late comers cannot 
 be permitted. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Angel’s Palace ex
