Tony Birch is the author of three novels and four short story collections. In 2021 he will release two new books, a poetry book, Whisper Songs and a new short story collection, Dark As Last Night.
Anne-Marie Te Whiu (Te Rarawa) is the co-editor of Solid Air: Australian and New Zealand Spoken Word and recently edited Tony Birch's forthcoming poetry collection Whisper Songs. From 2015-2017 she was co-director of the Queensland Poetry Festival and she currently works at Red Room Poetry.
Tony and Anne-Marie will discuss their creative collaboration and the complexity of editing poetry.
