Andrew Stafford

Andrew Stafford is the author of Pig City, a social, political and musical history of Brisbane during and after the Joh Bjelke-Petersen years. Now in its third edition, the book made history in 2007 when it was turned into an all-day music event by Queensland Music Festival, headlined by the first performance by the original lineup of The Saints in nearly 30 years. His freelance journalism appears in The Guardian, Fairfax, The Saturday Paper, The Monthly, Griffith Review and more.

His second book, a music memoir called Something To Believe In, was completed earlier this year and will be released in 2019.
