Word Play 2012: booking information for teachers and parents


Word Play tickets sell quickly; book early  to secure places in sessions, WordShops and Writer-in-Residence programs.

Ticket prices

Early bird discount price for all ticket types (available from Tuesday 5 June to Friday 22 June) -  $20 per student per day

Standard ticket price  $25 per student per day

WordShop ticket price $25 per student per day

Writer-in-Residence $25 per student per day

Ticket prices are the same for all students, regardless of attendance at sessions, WordShops or Writer-in-Residence sessions. A WordShop day pass includes one half-day WordShop and one session. WordShop places are limited to ten students per WordShop

Tickets for Writer-in-Residence students are $25 per student and the workshops are limited to 15 places per day.

Booking includes complimentary entry for one teacher per 5-14 students and two teachers per 15-30 students.

A single transaction fee of $12 applies to each school's booking


Five Quick Steps to Book and Pay

Step 1 - Download the program pdf or read it online. Select your sessions, WordShops and Writer-in-Residence programs, remembering to check relevant age groups for students.  

Step 2 - Download and complete the appropriate booking forms below for both school groups and individuals

Step 3 - Email the completed form to qtix at groups@qtix.com.au or fax to 07 3010 6268.
 
Step 4 - Check that you have received your booking confirmation within five days
 
Step 5 - Payment to qtix must be made within 14 days
 
Brisbane Writers Festival reserves the right to alter the program and artists and to cancel sessions where necessary. No refunds or exchanges are possible once bookings are complete and payment received.Program details are correct at the time of printing.
